In these times, God is moving in remarkable and unusual ways, stirring the hearts of His people and manifesting His presence. Many of us have asked the question, “Is God real?” I have asked this myself. But today, I want to assure you that God is indeed real. The Bible tells us that God is a spirit, and often, we struggle to perceive Him because we are so entrenched in our fleshly ways. However, we must walk in the spirit to truly connect with God.
The Bible encourages us to walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
This is a walk of faith. It’s easy to go to work and expect a paycheck because of past experiences, but it requires faith to trust God when faced with life’s uncertainties and challenges. When you receive a dire report from a doctor, that’s when your faith in God must be activated. God has revealed that many messages we hear today, focusing solely on blessings, are weak and sometimes deceptive. True faith is demonstrated not in seeking constant blessings but in standing firm in spiritual warfare, understanding that we live in a time of prophecy fulfillment.
We are at war. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for peace and war. Today, we are in a time of war. Many believers are losing the battle because they haven’t declared war on the devil. Every day, we must recognize that we are in spiritual warfare.
Ephesians 6:10–18 teaches us about the whole armor of God. To be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, we must put on every piece of God’s armor. This includes both defensive and offensive armor, preparing us for spiritual warfare. When we put on the whole armor, we fight from a place of victory, knowing that God has already given us victory through Jesus Christ.
Many of us struggle because we have left spiritual doors open. Unrepented sins and unresolved issues give the enemy access to our lives. We must learn to close these doors through repentance and putting on the full armor of God, which equips us to stand against the devil’s schemes.
The devil is cunning and studies us to find our weaknesses. Like a skilled adversary in a court of law, he builds a case against us. However, the Bible teaches us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty, through God, for pulling down strongholds. These strongholds are false arguments and beliefs that we have allowed to fortify in our minds.
It’s time to cast down these imaginations and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We must arm ourselves with the armor of light and righteousness, standing firm against the enemy. As the apostle Paul encourages, let us be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, putting on the whole armor of God to stand firm against the devil’s schemes.
We are not fighting for victory; we are fighting from a place of victory. God has already given us the victory through Jesus Christ. We must stand our ground, fully armored and ready for battle, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.
As we move forward, remember that our fight is not in the flesh but in the spirit. Let us be vigilant, knowing that an adversary is seeking to devour us. But with God on our side, who can be against us? Stand strong, church, and embrace the spiritual warfare with the confidence that God has already secured the victory.
